As an Associate Product Designer at Bayut and dubizzle, you will play a pivotal role in the early stages of the product design process. You will contribute towards crafting the aesthetics and user experience of our digital products under the guidance of a Lead Designer. You will understand how we translate user needs and business goals into innovative, robust digital products.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist in developing and designing intuitive and user-centred software products under the supervision of a lead designer.
  • Participate in the design process from conceptualization to final execution.
  • Leverage existing product design processes to effectively move projects and tasks continuously forward.
  • Contribute towards the definition of user interface design standards for the product.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners on one or more product teams.
  • Help refine concepts based on feedback and user validation.
  • A degree in Design, Computer Science, or a similar field.
  • 1+ years of experience in product design, or a related field.
  • An understanding of typography, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.
  • Familiarity with design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and interactive prototyping tools.
  • Strong in one functional area of design, while beginning to gain experience in others.
  • Ability to construct basic prototypes that demonstrate feature functionality.
  • Ability to articulate basic problem/solution space using documentation frameworks.
  • Passionate about design and the broader digital product landscape.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative, team-based environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable with receiving feedback and iterating on work.
