<ul></ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>This is a part-time remote opportunity</strong></span></p> <p>As a Bill Auditor you will be responsible for validating correctness of incoming credits before they are processed for payment. You may be called upon to serve as intermediaries between the vendor and the business to avoid the payment of unnecessary fees or overcharges.</p> <p><strong>Essential Duties: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Review incoming credits from vendors to ensure accuracy of charges</li> <li>Resolve any billing errors, overcharges or duplicate payments before processing</li> <li>Verify invoices are following contracts, policies, and industry standards or regulations</li> <li>Work closely with accounts payable, local management and vendors to clarify invoice practices</li> <li>Suggest process improvements to avoid future billing discrepancies</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>2-3 years of experience in relevant fields</li> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business, Finance, or another related field  </li> <li>Demonstrated excellent communication skills</li> <li>Foods or supply chain industry experience is a plus.</li> <li>Advanced degree is a plus.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Corporate Summary:</strong></p> <p>At Shamrock Foods Company, people come first – our associates, our customers, and the families we serve across the nation.
