Personal attention, timely communication, and respect for all people are the basis of our business philosophy!</p><p style="text-align: start;">At this point, Zelh is looking for a<strong> Carrier Sales Representative </strong>for one of our clients.</p><p style="text-align: start;">The <strong>Carrier Sales Rep</strong> will further expand company’s Qualified Carrier network, develop competitive carrier pricing and capacity, manage carrier performance and internal carrier selection process for different business verticals.</p><p style="text-align: start;"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Being responsible for finding dedicated capacity</p></li><li><p>Being in charge of building out routing guides for key customer lanes</p></li><li><p>Strengthen existing carrier partnerships and build new strategic relationships to expand company’s Qualified Carrier network</p></li><li><p>Helping qualify new carriers interested in joining company’s Qualified Carrier network</p></li><li><p>Streamline quick and efficient processes for carrier qualification and onboarding</p></li><li><p>Being responsible for driving Qualified carrier TSA compliance</p></li><li><p>Being in charge of ensuring Qualified carriers maintain their driver training compliance with company’s risk management team</p></li><li><p>Assisting the QCs through the levels of qualification</p></li><li><p>Understand company’s value proposition to carriers and create internal initiatives to generate focus on new carrier partner opportunities</p></li><li><p>Work collaboratively with all departments to drive efficiencies and company focus on building out the Qualified Carrier Network</p><p><strong><span style="font-size: 0.9em">NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</span></strong></p></li><li><p>Attends all required training and staff meetings</p></li><li><p>Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices</p></li><li><p>Maintains a positive and professional demeanor towards customers, visitors, and co-workers</p></li><li><p>Adheres to all policies and procedures of the company</p></li><li><p>Performs other duties as assigned</p></li></ul><br><br><p>• 2 years + of experience in a carrier sales or brokerage role</p><p>• Experience in drafting and negotiating logistics service contracts (transportation, freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution, import/export etc.)<br>• Knowledge of the logistics services and logistics technology industry required<br>• Knowledge of procurement and purchasing procedures required<br>• Strong communication, analytical and project management skills is a <strong>must</strong>.<br>• Knowledge of transportation regulations/law desired<br>• Ability to manage in a multitask role<br>• Excellent written and verbal communication<br>• Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills<br>• Demonstrate proficiency composing written communication, proofreading and editing<br>• Resourceful, well-organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail-oriented<br>• Ability to exercise initiative, good judgment, time management and problem-solving skills<br>• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office</p><p>• BS or BA degree (SupplyChain/Logistics, Operations), preferred</p><p style="text-align: start;"><strong>Working</strong> <strong>conditions</strong>:</p><ul><li><p>Working schedule -<span style="font-size: 0.9em"> </span>Mon-Fri 8 am - 5 pm CST</p></li><li><p>Competitive Salary in USD</p></li><li><p>Remote mode of work</p></li><li><p>10+ business days of paid time off</p></li><li><p>Team building and corporate events</p></li><li><p>Equipment provided</p></li><li><p>A supportive team</p></li><li><p>Remote eligibility</p></li></ul><p style="text-align: start;min-height: 1.7em;"></p><p style="text-align: start;">Join our team and become an integral part of our mission to provide reliable and efficient freight transportation solutions to our customers.</p>
