<strong>Description<br><br></strong>As a Content Editor on the Creative Production team, you will edit and refine engaging still and short-form<br><br>video content for Whole Foods Market Organic (WFM OG) social and brand channels. This role combines<br><br>post-production editing with basic social-first photography and video shooting to support content creation needs. You'll collaborate with content producers, social strategists, and creative partners to deliver polished, on-brand content that resonates across digital platforms.<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br><ul><li> Edit and assemble short-form video content for social platforms including TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook, ensuring alignment with WFM OG brand standards.</li><li> Refine still photography and video assets captured during productions, applying color correction, audio<br><br></li></ul>mixing, motion graphics, and text overlays as needed.<br><br><ul><li> Capture basic social-first still photography and short-form video content using mobile and professional equipment when needed to support campaign timelines.</li><li> Write engaging, on-brand social copy for captions, headlines, and in-feed text that complements visual<br><br></li></ul>content and drives audience engagement.<br><br><ul><li> Transform raw footage into compelling social-first narratives that drive engagement and reflect current<br><br></li></ul>platform trends.<br><br><ul><li> Collaborate with Content Producers to review footage, provide creative input during pre-production, and ensure editorial vision is achievable.</li><li> Optimize content for various aspect ratios, platform specifications, and campaign requirements across<br><br></li></ul>social and digital channels.<br><br><ul><li> Maintain organized project files, version control, and asset libraries to support efficient workflows and<br><br></li></ul>content repurposing.<br><br><ul><li> Partner with Social, Creative, and cross-functional teams to incorporate feedback, iterate quickly, and meet tight deadlines.</li><li> Stay current on social media trends, editing techniques, copywriting best practices, and platform algorithms to keep content fresh and relevant.</li><li> Support the Creative Production team in developing style guides, templates, and editorial standards for<br><br></li></ul>consistent brand expression.<br><br><strong>Basic Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Advanced proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and photo editing tools (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).</li><li> Strong understanding of social media platforms—especially TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook—and how to edit specifically for each platform's unique format and audience.</li><li> Basic proficiency with cameras, lighting, and audio gear for social-first still and video capture.</li><li> Excellent social copywriting skills with ability to craft platform-specific captions, hooks, and calls-to-action that align with brand voice and drive engagement.</li><li> Experience with motion graphics, text animation, and basic visual effects (After Effects knowledge is a plus).</li><li> Solid grasp of color grading, audio editing, and sound design to enhance storytelling quality.</li><li> Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high creative standards and attention to detail.</li><li> Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with producers, creatives, and stakeholders.</li><li> Creative eye for pacing, composition, and storytelling that drives engagement and brand connection.</li><li> Understanding of content performance metrics and ability to adapt editorial approach based on insights.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> 3+ years of experience in video editing, content editing, or post-production, with a portfolio showcasing social-first still and video work.</li><li> Background in marketing, advertising, or creative production; retail or consumer packaged goods experience is a plus.</li><li> Proven track record of creating engaging social content that performs well and adapts to evolving platform trends.</li><li> Demonstrated experience writing social copy that resonates with target audiences and drives measurable engagement.</li><li> Familiarity with Whole Foods Market or Amazon Fresh branding is preferred but not required.<br><br></li></ul>Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.<br><br>Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
