What you'll do

The Critical Systems & Networks Team (CSN) is responsible for all aspects of the achitecture, operation, and maintenance of both satellite and ground infrastructure networks.  We have a stong focus on networking, storage, compute, cloud, and cyber security.


The day-to-day

As part of this team you will be responsible for advising and driving our cyber security posture.  Your experience and education will be instrumental in ensuring a secure and functional environment on our networks.  

 

You will engage with the network engineers within CSN as well as routinely talking to the larger Cyber Security teams and engineers across other groups.   You'll perform cyber activities including STIGs and issue remediation, identify improvements and develop team efforts to keep security strong.   Additionally, you'll work closely with our network and systems architects to build the network and ensuring guidelines are in place.  

 


What you'll need

  • 3+ years' proven experience in the Cyber Security Field
  • Demonstrated familiarity with Networking principals
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Familiarity with STIGs, IAVMs, and POAMs
  • Familiarity with protocols and industry standards
  • Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security, Information Assurance or equivalent experience
  • CCNA Certification or CCNA equivalent experience
  • US Government position.  US Citizenship required
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain when administratively feasible
  • Ability to travel up to 25% both CONUS and OCONUS

What will help you on the job

  • CISSP certification
  • Familiarity with Nessus, Security Center, STIG Viewer, and other IA related tools
  • Familiarity with Window, Linux, Palo Alto Firewalls, Cloud services, VMs, and SDWAN
  • Proven ability to document process/procedure
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, focused environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

Salary range

$140,500.00 - $221,500.00 / annually. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $174,000.00- $261,000.00/ annually
