Our mission is to improve the quality of life for our clients by providing compassionate and personalized care in the comfort of their own homes.Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Information Technology (HIT) Manager/Director to oversee our HIT department. The HIT Manager/Director will be responsible for managing and maintaining our electronic health records system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, and implementing new technologies to improve efficiency and quality of care.Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain the electronic health records system, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance with HIPAA regulations- Develop and implement HIT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective use of technology- Train and support staff on the use of HIT systems and troubleshoot any issues that arise- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement new technologies to improve processes and enhance patient care- Monitor and analyze HIT data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancements- Ensure all HIT systems are up to date and in compliance with industry standards- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in HIT to make strategic recommendations for the company- Develop and manage the HIT budget, including forecasting and cost analysis- Oversee the selection and implementation of new HIT systems and software- Ensure all staff are trained on new HIT systems and provide ongoing support and training as neededQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Information Technology, or a related field- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HIT management or a similar role- Strong knowledge of HIT systems and electronic health records- Experience with HIPAA regulations and compliance- Excellent communication and leadership skills- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively- Experience with budget management and cost analysis- Proven track record of implementing and managing HIT systems in a healthcare settingLocation:This is a part-time, remote position.
