Role Description

20four7VA is seeking a Senior-Level Medical Scribe / Charting Virtual Assistant to support a Nurse Practitioner in daily documentation, patient note preparation, and administrative tasks. This role requires close attention to detail, accuracy, client confidentiality, and familiarity with medical terminology.

  • Create accurate and comprehensive medical documentation during or after patient encounters.
  • Join phone calls with the Nurse Practitioner and patients to document symptoms, concerns, medical history updates, and treatment notes.
  • Receive a list of patients scheduled for the day from the Nurse Practitioner and pre-fill or prepare notes.
  • Upload, organize, and maintain patient documentation securely in OneDrive.
  • Assist in navigating PointClickCare for documentation, chart updates, or patient lookup (experience preferred, not required).
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient records and sensitive health information.

Qualifications

  • Senior-Level Experience as a Medical Scribe, Healthcare VA, Nurse VA, or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical documentation
  • HIPAA Certified (Preferred; highly prioritized)
  • Previous experience supporting a Nurse Practitioner or medical professional
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organizational skills with high accuracy in documentation
  • Ability to work part-time during mid to late afternoon PST
  • Tech-savvy with experience in OneDrive (required) and PointClickCare (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to handle fast-paced workloads (20–30 patients/day)
  • High integrity and commitment to confidentiality
