Job Summary

SysTechCare Support is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Lab Technician to join our medical diagnostics and laboratory services team. This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with basic lab experience to work in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. The ideal candidate will assist in laboratory operations including sample preparation, equipment maintenance, and data recording while strictly adhering to safety and quality protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, label, and process biological samples for laboratory testing.

  • Assist in preparing specimens for analysis using proper laboratory equipment.

  • Operate basic diagnostic instruments and record results accurately.

  • Maintain cleanliness, calibration, and regular upkeep of lab tools and equipment.

  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and report any anomalies to senior lab staff.

  • Help ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Support documentation and data entry for test results and lab records.

  • Collaborate with medical professionals and lab supervisors to meet testing needs on time.

  • Properly dispose of biohazard waste according to guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/B.Sc. MLT) or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of laboratory safety protocols and specimen handling.

  • Familiarity with diagnostic equipment such as centrifuges, microscopes, and pipettes.

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and laboratory information systems (LIS).

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.

Experience

  • 0 to 1 year of relevant lab experience (Freshers are welcome to apply).

  • Internship or academic lab experience will be considered an advantage.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Saturday

  • 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

  • Occasional rotational shifts may be required depending on lab operations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Sound knowledge of basic microbiology, hematology, and clinical biochemistry principles.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

  • Capable of handling sensitive data with discretion and accuracy.

  • Physically fit to handle standing lab work for extended hours.

  • Readiness to learn and grow under senior supervision.
