Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Technologist to join our team. As a Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in providing accurate and reliable test results.

Work Schedule:

Saturday, from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Duties:

Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures using advanced laboratory techniques and equipment

Analyze and interpret data from various biological samples

Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy and precision of test results

Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise

Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results

Stay updated on the latest advancements in laboratory technology and techniques

Skills:

In-depth knowledge of physiology and laboratory techniques

Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment

Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for data entry and analysis

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field

Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)

Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting is preferred but not required
