It’s faster, safer, cheaper, and, above all, way better.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">We’re backed by investors including KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North and serve over 5000 software sellers in 245 territories globally.<br></p><h1><strong>The role:</strong></h1><p style="min-height:1.5em">As an Onboarding Risk Analyst you will report to the Risk Team Lead and support the execution of Paddle’s Risk Strategy.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">This position requires someone who can think outside the box, has a “can do” attitude, has strong onboarding experience in ecommerce/FinTech/SaaS, and willingness to learn and adapt in the ever changing world of risk and payments.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">Your day-to-day responsibilities will focus on the review of supplier applications and alerts generated by our onboarding solution. You will investigate these through internal solutions as well as open source resources. You may also need to communicate with suppliers/Account Managers in order to obtain the information necessary to address the alerts. You must be comfortable making decisions, sometimes with very limited information. At times you will face challenges to your decisions, so need to be comfortable handling these objections.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">Other duties will include answering queries from the Commercial teams, particularly around appetite decisions. You will also have the opportunity to handle escalations from internal teams, part of this process will be to educate and strengthen the skills/knowledge of the Onboarding team.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">Outside of your day-to-day responsibilities, you will be expected to help identify areas for improvement around our onboarding process.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h1><strong>What you'll do:</strong></h1><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Review supplier applications/accounts to determine if Paddle can support the business</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Investigate escalations from our internal teams</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Investigate alerts generated from our onboarding solution</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Conduct KYC & complex KYB investigations</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Provide insight to help make improvements in our onboarding process</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Provide expertise to the wider business in Onboarding</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Conduct PEPs and sanctions screening reviews in line with regulatory requirements</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Investigate and assess transaction monitoring alerts to identify potential risk or suspicious activity</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Review, validate, and verify bank account details to ensure accuracy and compliance, in line with AML regulations.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Be confident in making judgement calls (at times based on limited information)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Communicate in a clear and concise manner</p></li></ul><h1><strong>We'd love to hear from you if you are:</strong></h1><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You have 1-3 years Onboarding/Underwriting experience</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You have 1-3 years experience working in Merchant Acquiring, E-Commerce, SaaS or a similar role at a FinTech</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You have prior experience conducting PEPs and sanctions screening reviews</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You have prior experience conducting KYC & KYB reviews</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You are familiar with the specific risks associated with SaaS and Generative AI</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You have a proven ability to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You are comfortable making decisions and supporting your decision</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You put a high value on accuracy and completeness of work</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You have strong data analysis and investigative skills</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You have the ability to communicate clearly, sensitively, and effectively with suppliers</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Everyone is welcome at Paddle</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">At Paddle, we’re committed to removing invisible barriers, both for our customers and within our own teams.
