The Elite Job, in partnership with Qatar Airways, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our production systems and maintaining high performance standards within our aviation-related production environments. The Production Support Specialist will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues across various production systems, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor production environments, develop solutions to technical challenges, and implement best practices to enhance productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Monitoring: Continuously monitor production environments to identify and address potential issues before they impact business operations.
  • Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical issues in real-time to maintain system stability and minimize production downtime.
  • Incident Management: Lead incident management activities, ensuring that production issues are resolved quickly and that stakeholders are kept informed throughout the process.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Perform post-incident analysis to identify root causes and develop strategies for preventing future occurrences.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, quality assurance, and operations teams to ensure smooth transitions from development to production environments.
  • Performance Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities for system optimization and collaborate with relevant teams to implement performance improvements.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of processes, issues, and solutions to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Technical Support: Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for all production-related issues, escalating as necessary to external vendors or senior management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for software and hardware issues.
  • Experience with production system monitoring tools and incident management platforms.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and scripting languages.
  • Understanding of database management systems (SQL, Oracle, etc.).
  • Experience working with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in production support or a similar role.
  • Experience in the aviation or related industries is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience managing and supporting mission-critical systems in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
  • Flexibility required to handle production support issues, including after-hours or weekend work as needed.
  • Rotational on-call responsibilities may apply.
