The Opportunity As a Regional Test Specialist (EMEA), you will be part of the Roche Services & Solutions (RSS) organization. This position reports to the Global Lead of RSS Testing Services and manages ASPIRE Testing activities during global SAP S/4 Hana deployments. In the area of Demand to Pay: Accounts Payable, Procurement; Finance: Management-, Fixed Asset- and General Ledger Accounting cross-divisionally; and in Sales and Distribution. You will work independently to drive key tasks for the Project work streams. You will provide testing services for RSS Ops and Local Affiliates for any deployments and/or enhancements that impact these stakeholders based on agreed scope of end-to-end business processes. You will be communicating and engaging with various stakeholder groups as required in the entire testing lifecycle. Please note that this is a fixed-term position for 1 year (maternity cover).

Responsibilities

  • Execute the global, regional & local tests & document them according to the system specific framework in SAP Solution Manager and the existing Roche PMM and CSV rules.
  • Coordinate the testing activities with potentially external partners (e.g. 3PL), where required.
  • Definition of global, regional or local test cases, test plans, test data and other test prerequisites of the relevant test phases (UAT, Regression Test).
  • Support in the definition and execution of automated test cases to increase the efficiency in the RSS Organization.
  • Defect management handling within- and potentially across the streams. Close cooperation required between different business teams, the CSV team and IT.
  • Ensure that all testing activities are performed in accordance to the project plan/schedule.
  • Setup a proper status reporting for test execution to create visibility about the progress to the Test Management team and other Stakeholders.
  • Update of global Test Cases in case of any changes to the Template processes. Close cooperation required with other teams like Deployment, BPM Organization, E2E Support Model, Quality, IT, Change Management and Training.
  • Cooperation across the RSS Regional Testing Service Hub: The different regions support each other in critical situations to ensure that bottlenecks are covered and Project timelines are met.

Requirements

  • You have a proven track record as a professional user with SAP System(s) (R3/S4 HANA) and other ERPs and decentralized systems and their respective applications.
  • You have the ability to Analyze, Design, Describe & Test the E2E process solutions coming from the development team.
  • SAP Solution Manager testing tool experience is an advantage.
  • You have experience with SAP, Master Data, Reporting and Analytics in the respective area(s).
  • You have 3-5 years of related business experience or equivalent Testing/Project experience in the area of Finance.
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, and/or equivalent experience in the respective functional area(s).
  • You have a broad knowledge of business processes, policies and programs in the respective functional area(s).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve a variety of routine and complex issues and to describe the business requirements accordingly.
  • Strong Stakeholder management, communication, and change management skills are also a must.
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
