Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking passionate and detail-oriented Remote Subtitlers to join our growing content accessibility team. In this entry-level position, you will be responsible for creating accurate and engaging subtitles for movies, TV shows, YouTube videos, and online content. Key Responsibilities

  • Watch and analyze video content to generate high-quality subtitles in English.

  • Transcribe spoken dialogue into readable and synchronized text.

  • Ensure timing, formatting, and readability of subtitles are accurate.

  • Use provided subtitling software and follow standardized style guides.

  • Review and proofread subtitles for grammar, punctuation, and timing issues.

  • Maintain consistency in tone, language, and formatting across content types.

  • Meet project deadlines and communicate regularly with the team lead.

  • Edit and re-sync subtitle files when necessary based on client feedback.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English (written and listening).

  • Strong attention to detail and grammatical accuracy.

  • Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.

  • Familiarity with using computers, file sharing, and online tools.

Experience
