Job Summary The RFP Project Manager plays a critical role in driving business growth by managing the proposal process for Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Responsible for managing the development, coordination, and completion of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information, and proactive proposals from proposal kickoff preparation through final submissions, revisions and follow up or clarifications (as needed) for Comcast Business SLED clients. This position requires strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative approach to ensure proposals are compelling, compliant, and delivered on time. Job Description Responsibilities Proposal Development Lead cross-functional teams in the creation of high-quality proposals that align with client requirements and company standards. Review and analyze client requirements to develop win strategy, draft compelling / compliant response and identify risks or concerns. Project Management Oversee proposal timelines, assign proposal requirements to subject matter expert, building in time for meetings, assignments, content and compliance reviews and submission ahead of prospective client deadlines. Collaboration Work closely with sales, solution engineering, legal, other subject matter experts ensuring compliance, content accuracy and relevance to client requirements. Coordinate strategy calls, kickoff calls, question and answer preparation, etc. to ensure cross functional team alignment with a compliant response. Content Management Work collaboratively with proposal team and technical writer on newly created or updated content to ensure repository of templates and standard language are updated to streamline the proposal process. Multiple Project Management Ensure organization and meticulous attention to detail on numerous ongoing proposal efforts across various client to ensure compliant response submittals, clear communication and proactive strategies in alignment with proposal timelines. Analysis and Improvement Review win-loss data to identify areas for improvement in proposal strategies and content. Share best practices. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred or 3-5 years of experience in proposal management or a related area. Familiarity with government proposals (state, city, municipality). Strong project management skills and attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, at times with rapid turnaround times. Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively under proposal deadline pressure, while encouraging enthusiasm for the task. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Familiarity with proposal management software and tools. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
