Onda is seeking an experienced and results-driven SEO expert to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with our clients to manage and execute effective SEO strategies, including content optimization, link building, and keyword targeting. You will be responsible for improving our clients' search engine rankings across major search networks by conducting thorough keyword research and implementing innovative tactics. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering measurable results and possess excellent communication skills to effectively communicate SEO strategies and progress to clients.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve website traffic and rankings for D2C ecommerce clients

  • Perform keyword research, identify content gaps, and develop content recommendations for clients' websites

  • Conduct technical SEO audits and identify and resolve issues affecting website performance

  • Monitor and analyze website traffic and rankings, and report on performance and progress to clients

  • Develop and manage link building strategies to improve domain authority and drive traffic to client websites

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO, and proactively recommend changes to clients' websites and strategies as needed

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including content creators, designers, and developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website updates and new launches

  • Stay informed about industry changes and algorithm updates to adjust strategies accordingly


Skills
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors

  • Proven experience in implementing SEO strategies for D2C ecommerce companies

  • In-depth knowledge of keyword research and analysis

  • Familiarity with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMRush, and Google Analytics

  • Experience with on-page and off-page optimization techniques

  • Understanding of technical SEO, including site structure, schema markup, and XML sitemaps

  • Knowledge of content marketing strategies and how they impact SEO

  • Experience with link building and outreach campaigns

  • Ability to analyze website traffic and metrics to optimize strategies

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with clients and team members.


Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in SEO for D2C ecommerce companies

  • Proven track record of increasing website traffic and rankings through SEO strategies

  • Experience with technical SEO and tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs

  • Knowledge of website development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team

  • Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in SEO.


Additional Information
  • This is a 1099 independent contractor position

  • 100% remote work

  • The number of work hours is based on the number of client accounts you have at any given time

  • You have a flexible schedule, but meetings and communications with clients occur between the hours of 9 am - 5 pm EST

  • The ecosystem comes with various support functions, including scheduling, a designated billing department, and other admin functions so you can focus on what you do best
