Staff Accountant Petersburg, FL (Hybrid - in office 3 days per week) Reports To:

Accounting, Manager Team may need associate to work OT during the monthly close Staff Accountant position provides accounting support to all the business units including but not limited to general accounting duties, managing journal entries, A/R Reconciliation, Intergroup account management, GRIR Aging/Remediation, and activities related to the monthly Reporting processes, etc.

  • Prepare journal entries, account analysis, roll forwards and other analysis required for the month-end close • General Ledger account analysis • Prepare and issue various month end analysis • Prepare input into SAP • Prepare reports and analysis for consolidated reporting • Support internal audit requests • Prepare regulatory reporting in accordance with applicable deadlines • Participate in process improvement initiatives or other assigned projects Bachelor’s Degree in accounting required • Power BI experience • 5+ years of related work experience in Corporate Accounting team environment required • Must work independently and autonomously requiring minimum supervision • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel (Advanced skills are required) • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a highly networked and collaborative team environment • Very strong variance analysis research experience • Must have a strong understanding of financial and operational controls • Ability work in an open floor office environment
