Develop and implement financial data governance policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and objectives. Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data across all systems and processes through regular audits and quality checks. Lead and manage a team of finance data analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success in maintaining data governance standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and data management, to identify and resolve any data integrity issues. Develop and maintain standardized data templates and guidelines to ensure consistency in financial reporting. Monitor and analyze financial data trends to identify any potential risks or opportunities for improvement. Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior management on data governance initiatives and best practices. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data governance to continuously improve and optimize processes. Communicate and train employees throughout the organization on data governance policies and procedures. Partner with external vendors and consultants to ensure compliance with data governance standards. Develop and monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of data governance processes. Identify and implement opportunities for automation and streamlining of data governance processes. Collaborate with finance leadership to develop and manage budget for data governance initiatives. Act as a point of contact for any data governance related inquiries from internal or external stakeholders.
