This role owns complex integration architecture across on‑premise and cloud environments, enabling secure, scalable, and reliable system-to-system communication.</p> <div> <p>This position requires hands-on expertise with SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) and SAP PI/PO and is not intended for junior-level practitioners. The Senior Developer acts as a technical leader and mentor, working closely with functional, technical, and business teams to deliver modern, API-led integration solutions aligned with enterprise standards and cloud strategy.</p> </div> <p> </p> <p><strong>Essential Functions and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <div> <ul> <li> <div>Lead the architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and support of SAP integration solutions using SAP CPI (required) and SAP PI/PO</div> </li> <li> <div>Design and implement cloud-based, API-first, and event-driven integrations across SAP and non-SAP platforms</div> </li> <li> <div>Enable secure system-to-system communication and enterprise data exchange in hybrid (cloud and on‑prem) environments</div> </li> <li> <div>Evaluate integration requirements and conduct feasibility, impact, and solution architecture assessments</div> </li> <li> <div>Drive enterprise integration architecture planning and modernization initiatives</div> </li> <li> <div>Ensure integration solutions comply with architectural standards, security controls, and project schedules</div> </li> <li> <div>Develop and maintain detailed technical design documents, interface specifications, and operational runbooks</div> </li> <li> <div>Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor, providing guidance on SAP CPI best practices, reusable patterns, and integration governance</div> </li> <li> <div>Promote standardized, scalable, and future-ready API-based integration approachesLead post-release support activities, including issue resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement</div> </li> <li> <div>Collaborate with architects, functional teams, developers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery</div> </li> </ul> </div> <p> </p> <p><strong>Education, Training, and Experience:</strong></p> <div> <ul> <li> <div>6+ years of SAP integration experience, including enterprise middleware and system integration development</div> </li> <li> <div>Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) in production environments</div> </li> <li> <div>Strong experience with SAP PI/PO, including migration or co-existence strategies with CPI</div> </li> <li> <div>Experience across the full integration lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and support</div> </li> <li> <div>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, MIS, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)</div> </li> <li> <div>Experience supporting the Department of Defense or other federal agencies is highly desirable</div> </li> <li> <div>U.S. Citizenship required to obtain and maintain government clearance</div> </li> <li> <div>Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, influence architecture decisions, and mentor junior team members</div> </li> </ul> </div> <p> </p> <p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p> <p>In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $110,000 – $130,000 annually. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
