You will lead a small team of junior technologists in building solutions to early-stage ideas formulated by various teams and via organic ideation sessions. You will work to rapidly build working software that can demonstrate real business impact to clients.  You’ll be focused on shipping products in weeks, not months. You won’t just determine system architecture, you’ll shape how products deliver tangible client value.You’ll show resilience and creativity in iterating on and evaluating technology solutions posed;  you won’t be afraid to move on from approaches that aren’t working.</p> <p>This role reimagines what an engineer looks like. You will not be handed fully fledged product specifications or features, rather, you will need to take nascent ideas and turn them into working software. You will own more of the product lifecycle than a traditional software engineer.</p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications & Experience: </strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>A strong background in software engineering and modern software development, with a broad exposure to different tools and languages</p> </li> <li> <p>Explicit experience using AI solutions for product development</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience building early stage software products</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience working directly with product and business leaders to build software that solves complex business problems</p> </li> </ul> <br> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience rapidly iterating on potential technology solutions to complex business problems</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience working in small, entrepreneurial environments </p> </li> <li> <p>Experience developing solutions for public healthcare problems and an understanding of the challenges (e.g., HIPAA, data inconsistencies)  and opportunities (e.g., FHIR) that result.</p> </li> <li> <p>Demonstrated experience imagining new solutions, prioritizing them against resources available, and decommissioning efforts that are not fruitful.</p> </li> </ul> <br><br><br><p></p> <p></p><p><br></p><b>Security Clearance Requirements</b><ul> <li>US Citizenship or Green Card only - we do not offer Sponsorship</li> <li>US Residency for at least the past 3 years</li> <li>Able to meet the requirements to hold a position of Public Trust, including successful completion of a US Government background investigation</li> <li>Disclaimer: Medical or recreational marijuana use is considered illegal at the federal level, regardless of state laws allowing such, and may affect your ability to obtain Public Trust.
