KATRINA WAN PR is seeking an intern who is hard-working, organized, detail-oriented. The ideal candidate will have a passion for public relations within the film entertainment industry. This is a very hands-on experience with a great opportunity for growth for the right candidate.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Updating and researching media contacts
  • Updating publicity status reports
  • Conducting phone interviews between A-List talent and press
  • Creating and updating production notes to distribute to press
  • Distributing mailers to press
  • Creating pre-premiere press documents including: Tip Sheets, Photo ID's, Schedules, Reserved Seating Sign, etc.
  • Accompanying talent to local appearances including live television, radio and podcast tapings
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • MUST BE ABLE TO RECEIVE COLLEGE CREDIT
  • Must be available to work a MINIMUM of 20 hours a week spread over three days
  • Hybrid - Must be able to come to the office one day a week
  • Interest in public relations and/or the film industry
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to multitask
  • Research skills
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Cision / Muckrack experience a plus
