<h2>Responsibilities</h2> <p>Peraton is seeking to fill a critical role for a <strong>Technical Project Engineer </strong>for managing high visibility projects for our Risk Decision Group (RDG).</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>This role is 100% Remote.</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:</p> <ul> <li>The Project Engineer will be responsible for the performance of relatively small projects or a definable portion of a larger program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures, and guidelines.</li> <li>Will direct and supervise all support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities and manage the direction of a project through the design, development, implementation and testing in accordance with project objectives.</li> <li>Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects.</li> <li>Interface with all areas affected by the project including end users, business support teams, technical teams, and senior leadership.</li> <li>Coordinates efforts within the project team to ensure project expectations are met and communicated.</li> <li>Manages multiple projects at a time.</li> <li>Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports.</li> <li>Gathers functional and technical requirements utilizing standard project management and/or business analysis methodologies.</li> <li>Responsible for the preparation of and accountability for all project deliverables.</li> <li>Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis, to include areas of risk and key decisions.</li> <li>Provides timely and concise updates on project progress to senior management and key stakeholders.</li> <li>Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.</li> <li>Specify systems requirements and ensure that completed systems meet requirements.</li> <li>Participates in the PMO’s established change management practice by leading change requests and bugs from initiation to review by the Change Control Board.</li> <li>Possesses good trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Works under general direction and provides solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. </li> <li>A good team player with ability to provide after-hours support.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>2 year's experience with BS/BA, 0 years with MS/MA, 6 years no degree</li> <li>US Citizenship</li> <li>Must hold active federal background investigation with a T5 adjudication or Top Secret eligible clearance</li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Teams Environment </li> <li>Experience with Visio</li> <li>Experience with process flow mapping </li> <li>Experience working within and the analysis of federal investigative standards and operational workflows</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>PMP Certification</li> <li>Scrum Master Certification </li> <li>Understanding of agile methodology</li> <li>Understanding of software development lifecycles </li> </ul> <p>#RDG</p> <h2>Peraton Overview</h2> <p>Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
