Our purpose – Opening up a world of opportunity – explains why we exist. Here at HSBC we use our unique expertise, capabilities, breadth and perspectives to open up new kinds of opportunity for our more than 40 million customers. We’re bringing together the people, ideas and capital that nurture progress and growth, helping to create a better world – for our customers, our people, our investors, our communities and the planet we all share. We support the builders, forward-thinkers, future-makers and leap-takers, helping them ignite the bold ideas that reshape our world. We offer flexible banking solutions for start-ups, scale-ups, growth businesses at every stage of their journey – from the first-time founder on their first day to the serial entrepreneur who just raised their Series C and everything in between. Since launching HSBC Innovation Banking, the Enterprise AI and Software team in Northern California has grown rapidly by doing the work differently. We work with some of the most important companies being built in this market – and we are looking for someone who wants to be part of building what comes next. This is a rare moment in enterprise AI. The companies defining this category are being built right now, and this team is already working with many of them. The person who joins will have the opportunity to build relationships that compound for decades, with the institutional support of HSBC behind them and a team that founders actually want to call. We are looking for someone who takes the unconventional path seriously – whether that means leaving a safe career to try something new, joining a company before it was obvious, or simply thinking differently about what this role could be. The role is focused on building deep relationships with the founders, CEOs, and finance leaders of new and scaling technology companies. The team works with many of the best companies in the Enterprise AI and software sector and you should have relevant experience and a genuine passion for the space. By working closely with these companies, you will build trusted relationships leveraging the HSBC Innovation Banking platform to help them grow. You will report to one of the senior bankers on the Enterprise AI and Software team who will help guide your onboarding and success here at HSBC. You will also collaborate with multiple teams across all of HSBC – particularly Relationship Advisors, our Credit Solutions team, and other product advisors – to provide a seamless banking experience for your clients.
