Acting as a <strong>Subject Matter Expert (SME)</strong> in <strong>Safety Lockout</strong>, <strong>Electrical Services/Arc Flash Safety</strong>, and <strong>Portable Security</strong>, you will build strong relationships with end users and distribution partners through joint sales calls. You’ll be accountable for achieving sales goals and increasing market share across all commercial channels of distribution.</p><p>This role is home-office based and requires the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while demonstrating strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.</p><p><strong>What you will be doing</strong></p><ul><li>Drive sales of products, software, and services through all commercial classes of trade within the designated territory.</li><li>Conduct sales meetings and product knowledge training sessions for customers and distribution partners.</li><li>Monitor and report on operating conditions, market trends, competitive activity, and end-user attitudes; communicate insights to management accurately and promptly.</li><li>Document sales activities, forecasts, leads, and customer interactions in CRM software.</li><li>Attend national and regional conventions, trade shows, and dealer association events to support business development.</li><li>Manage territory budget, including travel and entertainment, office supplies, and administrative expenses.</li><li>Prepare and submit budgets and forecasts as required by management.</li><li>Identify and penetrate end-user facilities to sell the complete product line, including safety products, software, services, security hardware, and locker locks.</li></ul></div></section><section class="job-section" id="st-qualifications"><div><p class="googlejobs-paragraph--empty"></p><h2 class="title">Qualifications</h2></div><div class="wysiwyg" itemprop="qualifications"><p><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent work experience.</li><li>5+ years of field sales experience.</li><li>Ability to travel as required.</li><li>Proven track record of success in commercial/industrial sales.</li><li>Experience with CRM software and a positive attitude toward technology.</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in security, safety lockout (LOTO), and electrical arc flash safety sales.</li><li>Qualified Safety Sales Professional (QSSP) certification</li></ul></div></section><section class="job-section" id="st-additionalInformation"><div><p class="googlejobs-paragraph--empty"></p><h2 class="title">Additional Information</h2></div><div class="wysiwyg" itemprop="incentives"><p>Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: <u><strong>$90,000 USD - $143,000 USD</strong></u>. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
